These past couple of months have certainly been interesting for us all. Here at Island Lake Lodge we have been working towards a revamped way of operating both for summer and winter. We have established a Covid-19 Health and Safety team, whom are putting together operational guidelines on how we can run the various parts of our business in a safe and efficient way. The team is focused following our provincial guidelines for re-opening and digesting all the information coming down from government. The main focus is of course to keep our staff and guests safe in all possible ways.
Though there are some operation guidelines that have come out for hotels and restaurants, we are still waiting for an exact timeline for the Phase 3 of the BC Restart Plan to be announced, as we fall under the category of resorts. As soon as we have a clear picture of a timeline, we will release operational dates and services for summer.

For winter, we have already put forward a new cancellation policy. The idea is to be as flexible as possible and put our winter guests minds at ease in the face of future unknowns. The policy can be viewed here.
We sincerely thank everyone for their patience while we plan for future operations. Check back often for more information in the coming days as we will be updating this page regularly. We do look forward to seeing all our friends, guests and staff soon.
Yours truly, The Island Lake team
